still dove in kansas??

My dad and I have an area in kansas where we can go dove hunt, but we're unsure about whether there will still be dove around this weekend. Any ideas if they are still going to be thriving? As you can see we're pretty clueless about dove hunting so any info you can give would be great. Thanks!

theres not to many around in the central part of the state. if you can find a sunflower orpicked corn field you should do alright tho. theres enough mud holes around this year that hunting over water has been pretty slow

well unfortunately where we are going is over water. it's surrounded by grazing land so I doubt trying any surrounding areas would be beneficial. thanks for the help
