Take ur time going through the bush... Look specially for movement, and listen for those leaves rustling... Move in slow for the stalk but depending on how skitish they are, just run em up a tree, and pot em from there
Haven't had alot of experiance with grouse, and none with quail...

Hunting squirrels is just like hunting anthing else, food source, food source, food source. Where I live they hit the mulberrys in July then I wait until September for the hickory nuts and by October the acorns. Good luck.

you want squirrels? Pretend you are deer hunting and the little punks wont leave you alone. I bout wasted $20 in arrow and broadhead on one because it was pissin me off so bad. I probably saw 6-10 of them just sitting there.

Thats the way I do it, I find a creek or river bottom with tall trees, sit and wait, I have used a squirrell call with good success too, sit a while then start barking, it gets them up and moving and easy to locate. sometimes when you locate them in a tree they will stay on the other side hiding behind the limbs, stay put and have your buddy walk around to the other side and they will crawl around to your side for an easy shot.
