My first pheasant hunt

Got my first opportunity hunt pheasant yesterday. I have to admit I LOVE IT. I actually got one. My buddy and I each got a hen. We went to a field at 3:00pm that we had seen a lot of hunters at earlier in the day and there was no one there.
ll I have to say is I am out of shape. My legs are killing me today after all the walking.:D

Did you go out on the East End? State or private land?
DEC is really screwing me - sent in the application to hunt out there 3 weeks ago and still no word.[:@]

Went to Otis Pike. There were about 10 hunters there earlier in the day, many with dogs. We went back later in the afternoon, had the whole place to ourselves
