I'm looking at the 12G Rem 11-87. I can change the chokes/ammo for quail or pheasant. It looks like it can take some abuse too. I have an over-under now that is older then me. I'm always worried I'm going to scratch it or something. That and the price is right.

I bought my Dad a Stoeger Coach gun a couple years ago for Christmas. It's a brushed nickel finish and he really likes it. Mostly for quail over dogs. There are way more expensive guns out there, but to me field guns should be used and not just sit there and look pretty.
