Browning Citori question.

Do any of y'all know anything about a Browning Citori Satin Hunter?
I noticed it's a little lower priced than some of the Citori's, WHY?
Any info would be great!

Thanks

RE: Browning Citori question.

It is not in the new catalog. I might speculate that it was a special run or discontinued. I have seen a used one myself but it will still close to $1k.

RE: Browning Citori question.

I believe that it is because it is a field grade gun and lacks the high gloss finish in the wood, the high gloss bluing, and the scrollwork on the receiver. The satin is just that. Satin finish on the wood, barrel and a plain receiver. May also differ in the comb on the stock and nohigh post vent rib also being its a field gun.

RE: Browning Citori question.

So if I understand y'all, it's just a good ole huntin gun without the frills, bells and whistles of the fancy "Ultra's" and the "Cynergy"???
