Actually Hank, it is a Remington 870 Express Youth 20 ga. I bought it for him 3-4 years ago when he was 10 or 11 y.o. He is my oldestand I figured I would pass it down to the younger ones as they all got older. Last Christmas/birthday for my oldest, he got a Browning Gold 12 ga Stalker. He loves it and carried it upland hunting and duck hunting. The spot I posted pictures of is not our normal pheasant hunting location. Our normal hunting is some very, very steep terrain.

This year, he will go back to the 20 ga for pheasant hunting. It is over 2 pounds lighter and about 4-5" shorter, which makes a HUGE difference carrying. I think he is as good or better a shot with the 20 ga and is very fast with it.

It does make a very, very good low budget upland gun. Fortunate for me they are not expensive, because I don't think he will ever give it up to the younger kids. I see more guns in the gun case in the near future!!!!! :)

this is from last year but it wasnt a bad hunt i got the deer 4 days before the rest of the animals in the pic, this hunt was after a real bad blizzard.
oh by the way i seen the coyote in the middle of the field by a place we weer going to hunt i ended up tracking it on foot for over a mile to a shelter belt that we walked and my buddy ended up unloading his beretta on it.
