My buddy would like to set up a Pheasant/Duck hunt in South Dakota. His Grandad is almost 90 and still shoots lights outs!!! If you have any information on a good outfitter, please let me know. We are looking for next year. Thanks.

hey i just saw a place on bird hunters journal this morning. it was called thunderstix lodge. ive been trying to find it on the internet but no luck. looked pretty sweet.

how late does the sd season run?? on the guys website above...it says march 30. but i thought i remeber seeing jan 7. is one for preserves and one for public land??

The season in SD always opens the 3rd Sat. of October. It runs until Jan. 7th this year. Preserves can run longer.

Have had a group cancel out for the first week of November. The outlook is good. Should be a nice fall and lots of pheasants in our area of South Dakota this fall. We have over 2000 acres to hunt.
