Default What is your favorite locator call

In Maine I used a owl hooter with great sucsess, in PA no luck. In Pa I've had some luck with crow calls. What do you use?

well, i used to be an owl person in the a.m. and a crow person in the p.m.(until 1:00, lol) but after hunting this season, i'll have to change my opinion, they wouldnt answer to an owl for the life of me, but they would gobble at the crows while it was still dark........

Here in Illinois I've always had good luck getting them to gobble back to a gobble call. Crow calls are fun thought, I've had lots of stuff drawn in by them. Last year a coyote came in thinking a crow had found some carrion and he was going to steal it.
