First bow hunt for turkey

Well I am set to tackle bowhunting for turkey. Purchased a Ameristep Roundhouse blind, it is in my den right now and to say the least me wife is a little upset! The Bowtech VFT is on the money at 25 yards. I am shooting RM Gator XP's mechanicals. I will have my 8 year old son with me in the blind. Any tips from the turkey bowhunters out there? thanks!

Good luck man!! My dad's been doing it for 4 years and only has 1 bird. I tried it one year and didn't get one. It's a lot harder that with a gun but is very fun. I hope to someday take one with a bow. Have fun!!
