My guess is your calling to much, i would say give them the silent treatment for a little bit and dont call as much. just a few clucks and purrs here and there just so that they know your there. basically what MD said.

theres your answer, dump the decoys, keep the slate. He could be getting to 60-70 yards and seeing your decoys and then figures, alright now you come to me. Try losing the dekes so that he only hears the calling. Or if you arent already, add a jake into your decoys to make him mad.
