I choked 2 times in one day with my bow!
 

Hi guys I cant believe what I did yesterday but I did it. It was the last day of my tour turkey hunting the midwest. I missed a longbeard at 30 yards which is bad enough but then I missed one at 10 yards! I will admit I was thinking about how he would look mounted on the wall. There were 6-8 hens around me and then when I went to draw my bow one of them busted me. I think I panic and rushed my shot on the long beard. Oh well I ended the trip by bagging 2 with the bow. The 3rd one would have been nice though. Anybody have any luck with the bow?

nope i havent had any luck. I gave up last night I went out and it is just getting worse and worse as the days go on. I hate those little feathery ba$tards [:'(] I thought hunting was supposed to relieve stress lol for me it is stressing me more:D. I dont care the turkeys are way smarter than i am i guess.

You still had a great hunt though Bull Congrats on both birds. I had some success in the rain with the bow

Tuff luck but congrats on the other two. Since your touring, have u ever hunted Higginson-Henry WMA in Western Ky. It's a 2000 acre archery only place. Plenty birds;)

Simple. The turkey intimidated u more;) The greatest game animal of all!
