decoys

Never been turkey hunting but i'm thinking about trying it this spring. Was looking through iowas regs and i saw that decoys are illegal. Just wondering why this would be, they don't seem to hurt anything.

I don't know what you are reading from but decoys are not illegal in Iowa.

Yeah I've been hunting them here in iowa for years and have always used decoys. Let me check my 2005 regs quick.

I just checked it out and I think you must have read where it said the use of LIVE decoys is prohibited. But decoys are fine. You made me nervouse for a second but I would have thought I would have heard of such a big law change.
