Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

The reason for this is so that the hens can have some time in the woods to sit on there nest and not get bumped off buy hunter stumbling around in the woods I like the idea

all day in arkansas, and the season starts on the 9th!! been listening to them gobble for the last week! bummer is--on monday, had 2 gobblers going @ 50 yards off road, and 100 yards up the road was the cutting machine and 2 skidders. the trukeys were in trees that are no longer there!![:@] guess i'll be running and gunning a little farther into the woods this year good luck, everyone and remember--BE SAFE and make sure of your target!

i look at the estimated population of wild turkeys, harvest numbers, hunting hours nationwide in several publications and it makes no sense.all i know is in ill we hunt until 1pm.i dont stop for lunch, snacks, phone calls, dont care about the weather.just having a half day makes you focus more on those precious hours you do have.must be nice to have a leisurely lunch and nap and get back out there.

All day in NC and I need every minute of it. The few birds I have killed were before 10 though. Called one for a friend at about 3 one time and have worked others till around 5.

In KS we can hunt all day long...Afternoon hunting is real good where i go. Last year we called in a lone gobbler at about 1:00 in the afternoon. Nice to have long hours here in KS. Thank you KDWP.

VA now allows all day hunting the last two weeks of the season. I like it. I was in Montana last year where all day hunting is allowed and killed birds at 12:30 and 1:30 in the afternoon on different days...both within 30 minutes of leaving the truck. They were obviously lonely that time of day and smoking hot.
