Gobbler Guillotine - MUST SEE VIDEO

I'm dying to try out one of these puppies this spring, but I just can't bring myself to fork out that much dough for one broadhead that looks like it may disintegrate after 1 shot.

If anybody's tried one, let me know the result. I'd really like to see some pics if you get them.

Lops turkeys heads smoothe off. But, in the video the turkeys did look white. I think they were axing some domestic turks for the video.

Still amazing, how the head is there, then it's gone.

www.doublebullarchery.com request a catalog, and they send you a 3 hour movie, and in there, they have 3 decaps. It is pretty cool. I have really just one concern with these. They are made for headshots, and if you hit them in the head, problem solved. What if you miss the head and hit the body? Will it injure the bird, or not hurt it, cause with blades that big, it sure isn't gonna penetrate very much.

found it

one of the shots is a graze, and the turkey died, but it was a domestic bird, a real one woulda flown away.

it looks like the blades break off in a couple of the shots, so if they hit body, i could see them breaking off and the shaft penetrating the body...maybe not

That was ridiculous - and definitely a tame turkey.

Doesn't matter to me whether the turkey was tame or not, it showed the effectiveness of a broadhead I had already been doubting. This video proved me wrong, I may purchase a package before this season to test out.
