Birds were out this morning!!!!
 

My wife went to the store,when she got back,told me there were birds out where I hunt. Well I forgot the camera on the first trip. Saw about twenty in the field with a nice Tom strutting. While I was sitting there four big Toms crossed behind the car. Ran home and got the camera. Most of the birds were gone when I got back. Both of these birds have between ten and twelve inch beards. I watched them in a guys front yard when I didn't have the camera for ten minutes. I'm going to go up again tomorrow and try to get some better photo's.

Nice looking birds. Sorry have to do this. I'm guessing that the white stuff on the ground is snow.;) Havn't seen that in a long time.:D

I saw some on saturday. I thought that it was too early to see toms strutting but i guess I was wrong.Thanks for sharing. Where in NY are you located.

Those sure are some good lookin' gobblers. They were out in the afternoon too. I saw a flock of 6 longbeards about a mile from the house tonight. I was surprised to see them..all that I've seen out in the corn for the fast few weeks has been hens and about 10 jakes. Seeing those boys tonight sure has gotten fired up...but...we still have 41 days to go here in NY[:@]!
