Which Broadhead are you using for Turkeys?
So what broadhead are you guys using for turkeys? I was looking at the Gobbler Getters by NAP, or the adder rings for the back of my Muzzy's or I have some First cut exp's laying around. What are you guys using?

Muzzy. I too will be adding the rings behind them to keep the arrow in the bird. Happy hunting!

RE: Which Broadhead are you using for Turkeys?
125 Grain Snuffers or 125 Rocket Steel Heads, depending if I elect to Shoot through the Netting of my Blind or not. Iv heard that Gobbler Getters are a Excellent choice. Every Year seems to change for me. One Year I used a Nugent Head, with a Quick recovery on a Tom, then a 100 Grain Hammer Head, which totally destroyed the Bird. The Steel Head works for me, without massive damage. Good Luck!

Gonna try Rocket Hammerhead 4L heads this year. Anyone know about them? The price was right. They are a 4 blade expandable head with a 2" cutting diameter, so penetration should be slowed pretty well.

Slee I cant imagine a 4 Blade Hammer Head! My 3 Blade almost cut One in Half, with a Extra Blade, it might have been a Done Deal. That should fix his Wagon Pronto! Good Luck and let us see a Picture of the Damage, if you can?

Hopefully I'll get the opportunity. If I do, I may post the video to our call company's website. It would be awesome to get footage of 'em gobbling at our call, then get gigged on camera.
