RE: Md Gobbler sightings
I haven't done any serioius scouting/listening yet, but I've been keeping my eyes peeled on my daily commute down the eastern shore. Haven't seen any birds yet, but will be out on some of the back roads checking things out this weekend.

RE: Md Gobbler sightings
I was out today at first light just sitting and listening where I know some birds like to hang out and didn't hear any gobbles but saw 3 gobblers walking by together. The first was a jake, but I didn't get a good look at the other 2. They acted like they were late for an appointment because they were almost running through the woods. I was trying to figure out their travel routes between strut zones, roosts and feeding areas. These guys seemed very comfortable traveling through an open hardwoods area just down over the bench I was sitting on. They used that open area like it was a 4 lane highway. Hopefully, they will travel through there on April 18th.

RE: Md Gobbler sightings
I do that sometimes, but I take the first week of the season off to hunt Maryland. Then when Pa's season starts, I head up there to hunt with my cousin.

RE: Md Gobbler sightings
BC glad to hear theres a fellow Marylander up in Pa turkey hunting:D For the first couple weeks of our season thats all I see is Pa tags[:'(] Those Pa hunters prob make up 75-80% of the hunting pressure that I have to contend with every season:( One thing that I will have to say thow is those guys are some turkey hunting fools...
