Last day Gobblers

Just curious how many turkey hunters out there have had much luck the last week of your turkey season???

I've hunted the last couple days before and it seems like the gobbling is almost nill and when you do hear a bird gobble its really hard to hear them do to the green up being so thick...

I have taken birds in CO and KS in the last few days of season. In CO the pine trees don't change, same volume for a gobble. But in KS the trees and ground cover do soak up the sound. Makes knowing how far you are from a bird harder, unless you can see them. But still can done.
