Not real sure where we are huntin wayne, the guy we are huntin with lives in Vancouver. We will be muzzleloading hunting sometime during Oct., and i know it is public land, with plenty of open range. I will find out and let ya know, I also know we will be huntin Roosevelt elk. I will keep ya updated on what all i find out!!

hey hungryhuntergirl , Where I bow hunt is only about 50 mile's north of there. I hunt the Wearhouser land. They own around 485,000 acre's there. I see lot's of Elk every year there. I like hunting that side of the state cus it's a 3 pt. or better area. I'm sure you'll have a great hunt. Be great to hear your hunting stories. I stay in the Castle Rock area..I'm sure the fella your hunting with know's this area..

They got plenty of them there elk there wayne?? I hope we have some good luck, I think we are gonna drive there so we can have plenty of room to get the meat back here!! Plus that way we can bring more stuff rather than flyin.
