There's a white hen on the farm I hunt. She's been there 3 or 4 years.

RE: White gobbler???

i will have to see if i can find that mag. around here.

The bird i saw is alot more white than the one in the pic.
the only dark feathers were on the tail fan and there wasnt many of them.

The reasion i was thinking it may be a domistic or a cross is.
we have a noboir about 2 miles through the woods that has free range domistic "10 to 15 birds". and one of the goblers is pur white.

and it would seam to make since of a chick taking up with wild birds or a cross between them.

any way if a hunter takes him it would be a intersting trophey.

i have never seen a true albino here where im at ... but i have killed what many call a "SMOKE GREY" phase .... what it is .... is that the turkey is missing SUM of its melanin (what gives them their black color) in its feathers .... which is what makes it partially white .... a true albino turkey has NO melanin at all ..... believe it or not we have been watchin a smoke grey phase bearded hen for the past couple of months ... would love to kill her
