Default Hunting spring gobblers after 12 noon

In my state that is against the law. So MD. must think it is not ethical and I have no problem with that. I guess they figure it is not fair to wait by the roost tree in the evening for the turkeys to come back. How do y'all feel about that? And what about your state.

Natty, KY season use to be like that also but changed a couple of years ago I think know you can hunt all day. I think it is good because some people only get to hunt in the evening. Last year that was all I got to hunt.

Fla started all day hunts a couple years ago.
have only taken one bird after 12:00 noon.
I don't think there should be any problem with afternoon hunting.

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

You can hunt all day here in Arkansas. IMO there should be no problem with it ethically or environmentally.

Here in Mn.,the season will be open until 5:00 for the first time.Every year before this we closed at noon.DNR here did studies that showed that a noon closing served no real biological reason. Not many hens would be spooked of there nest with a 5:00 close. They didn't keep it open till sunset because they don't want people shooting them off their roost trees. With only a 5 day season for me to hunt in here,I'll take advantage of the new 5:00 close,if needed.
