browning turkey gun

ok i just bought a browning nwtf 12g, it has a 24" barrel. i was wondering if any of you all have this gun and how do you have it set up? like what shot, tube...ect. i was thinking of getting a super max hevi shot turkey choke tube from mad calls. is it worth it, or should i stay with the xfull with lead?

I use a Comp-N-Choke tube in mine and shoot Winchester Supreme 3 1/2 #4's. I also have a Simmons Pro Diamond 1.5-5X scope on it. It definately drops'em in their tracks!

Try the Rhino tube with Nitro-Hevi shot and you won't be disappointed.

thanks for both of your inputs. after further research on the internet, i just ordered a Rhino tube, it should be here in a few days.

To be honest with you, & I know this may sound strange but I used the x-full choke that it came with. I shoot hevishot #5's 3 1/2 & last year I splint a longbeards head open @ 40 yrds. Anyway to each his own, but the stock choke worked for me.

I have that gun in the 3 1/2" and found the stock was too long. I shortened it and will pattern this weekend, I`m going to try the Rhino/Nitro combo this year. Currently I`m using a Kicks Gobbling Thunder in .675 and Remington Hevi-shot 6`s.

wow savedbygrace, i talked to browning about shooting hevi shot with that choke and they recommended that for hevi shot to use the modified tube. full and xfull is for
lead only as stamped on the tube. so either browning dont know what they are talking
about or you were "savedbygrace".
