Has anyone used one of the stadium seat turkey vests?
I have been looking at the stadium seat vests in both Cabela's and Bass Pro.
Links: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...results1.jhtml and http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catal...rTarget=browse I am seriously thinking about getting one of these, because of the flexibility it would give me in the farmland where I hunt. In a lot of the hedge rows and brushy edges of fields, there is a a lot of cover but little or no trees large enough to support leaning against them. So I was wondering if anyone else here has used one of these seats or something like it in the field. Since even the best idea can be a flop when you try to use it in real life. Thanks for any input.... |

Just to clarify so no one thinks I'm an idiot... These seats have a self supporting back. They are much like the crazy creek camping/stadium chairs. I have a turkey vest now, but the self supporting back sounds like a plus.

1075 I have a real neat vest that I bought about 5 years ago. It is made by Buck Lick Creek and has all the pockets and pouches needed to carry calls, shells, decoys and dead turkeys. The best part about it is the padded seat which when folded up goes behind your back on the inside of the vest. When you need to sit you simply pull the seat down and it is hinged on the bottom and sides by straps that are adjustable. You can sit and lean back and be fully supported without leaning on a tree.
