Panhandler Call Holder
 

I got the Panhandler slate call holder from H.S. Strut. I used it a couple different ways, but did not get the sounds I did with using both hands. It just doesn't sound as good. Probably because there is no sound chamber produced with the Panhandler like there is with my hands.

I wanted it because I hunt by myself quite a bit, and really like the slate call. Has anyone else used this call? What were your results?

Yes, I use one and have had good results. The only complaint I have about mine is the strap doesn't have elasticity and often gets loose and falls down my leg. I know what your saying about the sound, but I just played with my call until I found the sweet spot that produced the best sound. I did use it to kill 2 birds last year. BTW I'm using a Primos Power Crystal with mine.

When using the panhandler I found when placing a call in it not to over tighten it, that will deaden the sound of the call. Tighten just enough so the call does not move when using it.
