Kicks Gobblin' Thunder

Does anyone use this choke? I'm thinking of ordering one and would like some opinons! I will be using this choke with a Stoeger 2000. Thanks in advance!

It's my first choice for non hevi-shot loads. Great company and choke. If you order directly from the company, they will work with you find the best constriction. They are not recommended for hevi-shot though.

I have used a Kick's Gobblin' Thunder in .665 for several years now in my Remington 870. I use Winchester High Velocity 3" #5's through it. It is indeed an awesome choke. If you're not going to use Hevi-Shot loads (and there's no need to with this choke) then you don't need to look any further for a high quality choke IMO.

I have a Kicks .655 for my Remington 1187 SM and it shoots the best pattern I have ever had with any gun including my 835 Ulti Mag with the Nitro Hevi-Shot. Not much better but a little.

Some choke manufactures suggest not to use hevishot in their chokes. Better find out first before trying them in your gun/choke, might damage your choke tube.
