Yes, if there is turkey present now. I took my son to my favaorite spot and he shot his in corn field before it was plowed. They eat young grasses between rows and when plowed will feed on insects and worms. Know matter what I, harvest fish or game I, always check it to see what it's been eating.

I've noticed that they'll work those corn fields in winter as long as there's food in them. In spring, it seems as soon as it greens up, they'll leave the corn fields and go for the green.

Fellers,in my stretch of the woods food becomes secondary to the ladies as spring approach's!Find the hens and the gobblers will be there. It just might be in a corn field but those gobblers are there not neccessarily there for the corn but because thats where the hens are at!;)
