Update on Cody
 

Well so far so good! Overall things are going pretty well. Cody has had a couple of minor complications but nothing that the doctors are worried about.

Last week his bloodwork came back showing he had CMV virus active in his blood. This is the virus that causes chickenpox & shingles & can become active when the immune system is suppressed as Cody's is now. They say it's no big deal & about 70% of BMT patients get it, but they caught it early and should not be a problem.

Then today we found out that what we thought was a cold that Cody had was actually the flu (Influenza A). Again doc says no big deal, not uncommon. They have him on medicines for it, and he's feeling OK.

I'm better and back in Nashvegas so Ronda finally got to go home after 12 days here. Thanks for all the prayers & well wishes & please don't stop.
