H.S. Strut Box call
 

I was in the store the other day and was looking at the turkey calls and saw this box call by H.S Strut, and thought it was really neat cause you can lock the lid so it don't make any noise when you walk.I am not sure what it is called but has anyone tried one? How do they sound.I was thinkin of goin back and pickin one up.

i have one to i think mine is a double sided one side is a higher raspier sound the other is deeper sounding mine sounds great as long as you chalk it up regularly.

You can make any box call silent with a rubberband and a piece of cloth.

..Dont let someone tell you that H.S. STRUT dont make good box calls,i think they have the sound of a old boss hen,and they work killed lots of gobblers with mine...:)..

I love mine - It rings very true - and is extremley loud or you can get soft with it . plus it has the silencer (good idea). Don't go in the turkey without it.

Well I went out and bought it and the ol' momma' hen and they both sound great.

Its a great call
