Heavi-Shot?

Has anyone patterned the new Heavi-Shot loads from Remington? Are they noticably tighter than the competition?

Good question!! I waiting to hear from someone on this very topic as well. I seen them at the sporting goods store, and at $19.95 for a box of 10, I want to hear about them first before spending that kind of money!!

Yes, at that price it may be a little costly just sighting in, but a small price (@$2.oo per shell) to pay for each trophey longbeard. Right now, not that many retailers even stock them in our area. (WI)

Be careful with them. Per Kick's and a couple other companies, they can damage barrels and chokes. There's a big discussion on http://www2.huntinfo.com/cgi-bin/ubb/Ultimate.cgi forums. Go to Turkey Hunting and then to the Hevi-Shot link on 2-25-2002.

20.00 $ a box...no thankyou i'll stick with the remmington 3" mags #6.
