Remington Ventilator vs Turkey Super Full choke?
I know there has been some discussion about chokes already. But has anyone had experience comparing the turkey super full to the Remington Ventilator? I can get one for about $23 and didn't know whether it was worth it.

RE: Remington Ventilator vs Turkey Super Full choke?
Well goldie this is the deal if your gun dosent shot very well with the choke you have then you will need to get another. Every gun is different. The ventilator shoots well out if my 870 but does not shot worth a s!@# out of my 11-87. The Rem super full shoots great out of my 11-87 but does not shot worth a s@#$ out of my 870. Buy the choke and try it out.

I might try just for the fact that I can get it for $23 new. I have an 11-87 so I am a little sceptical. I am going to a range tomorrow to try out a few different loads...maybe I'll buy it on the way there. Thanks for the feedback. Also, if anyone had recomendations on a ported choke for an 11-87 let me know.

If the Ventilator dosen't shoot that well try the Tru Glo Strut Stopper.

I was looking at the Tru Glo but it is about 3 times what I would have to pay for the Ventilator. I will definitely keep it in mind though.

To those with the 870 and ventilator choke. I have the same combo and was wondering which loads ya'll use and also what kinds of patterns are ya'll getting. Say for example how many pellets @ 40 yards in a pie plate. Thanks.

the ventalator shoots much better in my 870 with number 6 shot.the factory choke shoot very well with number 4 shot...i use the ventalator mainly because it drastically reduces recoil..it puts about 20 pellets in the kill zone at 50 yards..thats not so bad.
