NWTF Banquet
 

Well, went to my first banquet of the year. Was a good one. In the auction i was the high bidder on the NWTF 2002 Medallion Collection. Got it for $200. My little girl , Kelsi, also won the &quot;Jakes&quot; gun, which was a New England Firearms, 223, with a laminated stack, with the NWTF Emblem in the stock. With the gun she won a Primos slate, push button, and crow calls, and she is entered into a drawing for a hunt with Will Primos which will be videoed and televised. I was really surprised when they called out her name, guess my string of good luck is back. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I f I didn't get the #2 print that was the other print that I wanted to get at my banquet!! I loved both of them!! That medallion print went for $225.00 at our banquet!! Good job!! The &quot;Warriors&quot; print is hanging on my computer room wall as we speak!! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I wrote down the prices for all items auctioned because i wanted to compare at the differnt banquets i attend this year. I also liked &quot; The Warriors&quot; It went for $175 down here. I liked it too, may try and pick it up at the next one. I also like the &quot;Stamp Frame&quot; with the stamps from 1982-2002. I have a couple more so maybe Ill get it for a good price. If im lucky maybe the kids and I can win a few more guns.<img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

My wife & I went to our fist NWTF banquet, a couple of weeks ago. She bid on, and won the Morning Majesty sculpture - $150.00 (valued @ $250.00). It's a beautiful sculpture of an Eastern Tom! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

She got a little &quot;miffed&quot; during the gun drawings. The &quot;last-minute&quot; ticket buyers won both guns - they didn't stir them up, after the tickets of the &quot;last-minute&quot; buyers were placed in the bowl. I guess I know how to do it, next time... (I know it's a &quot;chance&quot; drawing, but this wasn't right)

Yea we had a good time..You did get a good deal on the medallion collection..
My wife wound up being the high bidder on 2 of the silent auction items.
Got the &quot;Tom Turkey Time&quot; print for $160 and a Turkey welcome sign for $35, dident do to bad.
Went after the gun of the year SUPER X2,but somebody wanted a little more than I did.I think it went for $825.

Chairman, that turkey scuplture went for $250.00 at our banquet, I would of bid on that if I didn't already get the &quot;Warriors&quot; print!! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Just to let you guys know what a few of the items that have been mentioned went for at the first banquet I went to.The 2002 medallions went for 80.00.The Morning Majesty sculpture went for 185.00.The Warriors Stamp print went for 60.00.

i went for my first time w/ bossbuster and spitndrum. man i really enjoyed it. i will brimg alot more cash to the next one i go to.
