Ma , nice call, I would have to think that the pitch would be a little higher with the material involed. That should be a awsome call for Florida, as the folage can be heavy in places...BT

Sometimes with higher pitches a soft wood striker will lower the tone and add rasp, maybe try a Cedar Wood striker on this call as you may find the notes your looking for. If you don't have a Cedar , email me and you will have one ASAP ;) ...BT

Very nice Ma!!Thanks for sharing!!I happen to like the sound of a good purpleheart striker on my alloy calls.A broad tipped acrylic or plexi-glass stiker on metal can produce some nice sounds also!!PUUURRRTTY CALL!!!!!!!:D

thanks for the advice and the offer to get that cedar striker, that was sweet;).....i have this ol' cheapy carbon striker that makes it sound real good, a lil higher pitch then i like, but over all it sounds pretty darn good....i will definately take it in the woods with me......
