Not too sure aboout other provinces but here in Manitoba, we have a huntable population of around 10,000 turks. They are a Merriams sub species. We have a spring and fall seaon for them. I am sorry to say that hunting them is only allowed for residents of the province.

Canada, is just getting into this Turkey program, BC has a small population close to the US boarder aswell as the rest ofthe western side,

I hope to see Manitobia changing the Reg's to allow NonRes to hunt soon aswell,

Ontario is the only Province that has the highest populationof birds at near 45,000 birds , they do allow NonRes hunting aswell as long as you take the 1 day maditory safty corse, if your intersted in hunting them , maybe we can work out something and I can have a bird standing in front of your gun next spring...BT
