I myself am also a hardcore big gamer, but I'd say scout, scout, scout. The more you can learn about these critters the better your chances for next year. And I see your looking at yote hunting, that will help your local Turkey population out too:D. Read and learn what you can and even go out and get amongst the birds undetected and just sit, watch and learn, and maybe even a camera or video cmaera too. That will make for some enjoyable memories.

st!...
Trap gives great advice...never and I mean never stop looking for new opportunties to be potential hunting spots next season.I've hunted gobblers for years and one of the biggest uphill battles we face as time passes by is having a good place to hunt year in and year out!Alot of places I hunted 10 and 15 years ago are now subdivided, owned by someone else, and even now within city limits! So consequently on those other hunting trips, squirrel, deer, etc, always keep your eye out for those opportunities and pursue them! One other thing I might add here is continue to brush-up on your calling!I make a point of trying to make myself as versitale as possible as far as my calling in the turkey woods!Becoming familiar with both friction and mouth or air driven calls can often times add to your success afield!!!;)
