How far can a turkey see?

RE: How far can a turkey see?
Bosstom,
The scientific consensus is they are detecting color variations and movement. It is very difficult for them to focus both eyes on a particular object, but because of that they can see approximately 350 degrees.
It is more of them seeing something out of the ordinary and reacting, moreso than actually identifying the danger. Hence, that's why we can hunt the same area day after day and have a chance...
In conclusion, realize that approximately 75-80% of a bird's brain is dedicated to the auditory and optic nerve inputs...hence, their memories suck but they sure can see & hear
