Finally got my pictures developed.

Here's my Black Hills SD Merriam's Jake. There's also a shed in the pic that I found as I went to pick him up after the shot. Thought I'd add it to the pic too.



Here's the view off the front deck of our log cabin we rent in the Black Hills. We saw deer and elk each evening in the meadow right out front.

Hard to keep count. Saw lots and heard even more. Birds were really flocked up yet which was surprising. Usually by early may the toms aren't as henned up. But we ended up working henned up gobblers most of the time. Last grooup we worked had 5 toms and 14 hens in it.

Actually Custer Mountain cabins. Highknob knows the spot. Lots of views like that out there though.

Almost makes it hard to concentrate on chasing those gobblers. Almost ;)
