Mosquitoe Proof???
 

Does anyone know of gloves that are mosquitoe proof? The huge buggers are getting real bad here and they love my hands(usually when i have my gun up and a bird coming in).

Spray with DEET product, at least 30% deet, such as Deep Woods Off.

Have you tried...ThermaCell....It works....I bought one and had the chance to use it the other day ...The skeeters and gnats were tring to pick me up and haul me away, till I turned that bad boy on and presto.....NO MORE BUGS!!!:)

I don`t want to use DEET because it will damage the camo finish on my gun but I keep hearing about this Thermacell and will look into it more thanks.

Also can be found at Wal-Mart, CVS pharmacy and various sporting goods stores. Greatest thing since peanut butter.

To keep ticks and mosquitos off, you can also spray your clothes with permanone (do not get this stuff on your skin). It's recommended that you spray your clothes the day or night before, let dry and go. They say it will last thru a washing or two. I like it because it keeps the ticks off.

For mosquitos, go with the Thermacell.

If you're like me Deet doesn't help. During fall archery I tried every spray and lotion there is. It works on some people but does nothing for me. I went so far as to put surgical gloves under my camo gloves and I still got bit!

I'm considering Thermocell - it better work or I'm gonna have to set up some kind of screen blind. I'll go crazy during archery if I can't get any relief. Skeeters are the lowest life form there is - the bloodsucking *&@*&%*'s..........

One thing to remember about the Thermacell, always place it on your upwind side.

Now some home remedies for mosquitos': Some ole timers (older than me) swear by drinking vinegar in water, drinking the juice out of a sweet pickle jar, taking sulfur tablets (local pharmacy).

I use permanone on my clothes and a musk oil mosquito repellent, but the deer can smell it, so work the wind.
