Illegal hunting on TV!!!
 

I just put this post on the deer hunting forum and thought I'd put it here too....I was watching Backland outdoors on TV today and they were deer hunting in Iowa. Two hunters in different stands were talking over 2-way radios which, unless the laws just changed, is illegal!!! Wanted to know if anyone caught this show and what you guys think of it.

I dont know their names but I think they are the regulars to the show. I'll try to look it up.

why is it illeagel to do that?? i always thought it would be nice if you have 2 hunters then you would know where one is at...

Well now that I read the regs the law states that it is illegal to use radios to tell the location or direction of game or coordinate hunters. If they are just letting each other know if they got anything it MIGHT not be illegal.

yea but you could easily use cell phones to do the exact same thing...

You should see the dog hunters chasing deer in NC. 1,000 watt CB rigs in there trucks. Don't get me started.
