WELL I WILL START MINE IS 11 1/4 INCHES..
BUT A FRIEND OF MINE SAYS HE HAS ONE 14 INCHES..
I HAVE NOT SEEN IT...BUT HE SOUNDS SURE..
..WHAT IS THE RECORD IN LENTH.?????????:eek::eek:

17" is the record (last time I heard)

The NWTF goes by the "longest filament/strand" to where the "mesofibroplume" ([:-]GAK!) emerges from the skin of the breast.

As for me, I will check in with my paltry 10 3/4" (I'm still very proud of it though!);)

record is an eastren.....18.25 or something like that.....i know its 18 something......thats wild......how didnt it break??? they gorw like 4-6 inches a year.....but they normally stop about 12ish from dragging on the ground.......from what i read anyways......my biggest is 9....only my second spring turkey.....i killed a hen in the fall....last years bird was 8 3/4ths....

10 3/5" is mine.
you have to watch the books,if it is 3 or 4 beards they add all of them together.thats kinda ,in a way not the right way to do it for the single bearded birds.
there should be a different scoring for them.
