Roosting Gobblers...
Any one got any tips on roosting gobblers? I usually use a palmers hoot tube, but if you got something different let me know.

RE: Roosting Gobblers...
I hunt public land so all I can tell ya is about what I've seen and heard. Car horns, car door slamming, tailgate slamming, uncontroled crow calling and owl hooting.
Me personally i just do a lot of listening and the occasional owl hoot... |
RE: Roosting Gobblers...
more listening than calling... I like to use a hawk call or a dog whistle

RE: Roosting Gobblers...
Where I hunt there are so many owls that I dont even bring my owl call out most of the time. I generally setup where I've either roosted birds the night before or I setup in one of the areas that I feel "good" about bird being. I know those woods like the back of my hand so I generally have a good idea what the turkeys are doing.
