Another option would be a Weaver Quik Point®; only 25-35% cost of a Busnell Holo-Sight®.
I'm not familiar with the Weaver Quick Point. Your suggestion as to it being an alternative to the Holo Sight and with you having used the Holo Sight - is the Red Dot of similar technology with a holographic display and permitting both eyes open sighting? Thanks gg.

EXACTLY! I'm talking about the earlier model with 0X magnification.
