I took a nice Tom on Sunday the 25th, It was my first, what an awesome experience, I'm hooked for sure. I'm getting it mounted in a full strut on a rock platform with mushrooms, leaves and moss on the base. I can't wait, but I'm going to have to wait 10 months to get it back. Let's see some of your Turkey Mounts!

I'm getting one back in about 8-10 months as well. I cant wait. I'm getting full strut. I'll post the pics when I get it back.

here is my solid white turkey mount......i took this bird 2 years ago in the fall.......he has a 8 inch beard ,19 pounds, 1 1/2 spur.....came in with three other toms.......i seen him two weeks before i killed him.......

It is my first one, 18 lbs. 10 3/4 inch beard. 1 inch spurs.

Nice mounts doemasters. The one I'm mounting is 25lbs with a 9 3/4 in beard and 13/16in spurs.

Right click on your image
pick "copy shortcut"
On your post, click on image
paste the link between the brackets ie: [img]x[img] x marks the spot.

Doemasters, I killed mine on April 16th. Opening day of 2nd season here in Iowa. We have BIG birds where I hunt. My uncle killed one last year there that was pushing 29lbs!! I know I've seen bigger ones than the one I killed out there. I hope to get one this weekend.

I shot this bird in the Spring of 2002, it weighed in at 20lbs, had a 9.5 inch beard and 1.25 spurs. i like this mount the best and i also have small jake running.
