What kind of ground do you hunt?

I hunt several southern Iowa farms. My uncle owns about 200 acres of woods and I hunt about 300-400 other farms that pretty much all border each other. I have been spending time in those woods for years (5 year for turkey, 4 for deer and I alway went deer hunting with my dad before I was able to hunt) and I know them like the back of my hand. Just wondering what everyone else hunts.

I hunt the very diverse terrain here in northern california. Doesnt seem to be as many birds as all you guys in the east but i have seen some big rio grandes this year. As far as ground...mostly moderate to densly wooded hills to mountains...can get pretty steep around here. I actaully hunt a series of 4 ridgelines. Lots of oak trees and digger pines. Also a lot of open pasture

We hunt on 10 private farms in SE Ohio(got access to one more farm Sat) giving us every bit of 1500-2,000 acres. My buddy also hunts a farm next to us that is 6,000 acres, but I only hunt there when I am invited since he has the permission.

I don't really get to hunt farms much unless it's in Kansas. Here in Arkansas, all of our hunting is done in the hills. Nothing but endless miles of hills and woods...and hills and woods.

hunt our farm of roughly 1000 acres here in N Fla, some pastures, fair amount of hardwoods and swamp, and fair amount of planted pines (20 yr old). Mostly rolling hills, and these $%@##@ birds stay in the pines and swamp edges, hard as heck at times, think they call them swamp birds...
