HELP ME! ALL HENS AND NO TOMS!
 

Ive seen over 30 turkeys and they have all been hens, toms are really gobbling in the morning and then they shut up till around 10 o'clock. Any advice on where to find these toms? Is it too early in Kentucky or what is the deal?

I've seen it a lot over the last few years too. Gobble like crazy on the roost, fly down supposedly with hens never to be heard again until the next morning.

Yesterday was an exception to that because they gobbled right up until quittin' time at noon. Didn't matter though, 'cause the monster I wanted stopped gobbling before he came in and then hung up at 60 yards![:@]

Today was back to normal---not a peep after fly-down.

You might try busting the flock just before dark. If you make all the turkeys spend the night alone, they will be much more responsive to your calls and should gobble more since they're alone.
