Dang. Spotted again.

I got all over a gobbler and 2 hens this morning. He would not gobble back to me, but everytime I called he'd blow up and strut around. Never paid any attention to my decoy. Well he was just coming into range and one of the hens started raising cane and poof. All three took off running.

Wonder if that hen spotted me or if she was ticked off at the decoy?

I know where I'll be earlier in the morning!

sometimes I think they know your just there. I have had times when i was in thick brush totally camoed and not moved a inch and still get busted. I swear I think they have eyes in back of their heads or have ESP

Hang in there. Sometimes it seems like nothing can or ever will go right. However, it will seem fairly simple when it all comes together.

In pressured areas there have been times I have hunted hard rarely getting even a look at a bird. I remember one day in particular when after days of frustration some were finally heading my direction. I could hardly contain my excitement and anticipation. I went from the penthouse to the outhouse in a hurry though. The minute they saw my decoys they took off running in the opposite direction. I guess that is why they call it hunting. [&o]

good trick is to sit with your knees up, with the gun resting on your knee and the butt against your shoulder. Very little movement required to sight him, and thats absolutely necessary
