Congratulations! Just curious as to what type of gun did your son use?

i bought him a winchester 1300 youth model 20 ga. he and i both like it well, i may even use it for my season its short and very light. it has the speed pump so it is a short action which works great for him. he also went on his first deer hunt last fall and used a new england arms handi youth rifle in 243. those are nice but needed to be topped with a scope. however he was unsuccessful at that:( but did get to shoot at a doe.

Congrats... I am really glad that you got a youngster into the woods. It is really important to keep younger generations involved in the outdoors. I srill remember my first turkey and I can tell you one thing, it took a LOT longer than 45 minutes for me to get my first tom. Anyway, I am also curious to what kind of gun you used. tc. BB
