what call have u had the most success with? for me it was a knight and hale old yeller..

rod bensons snapen craken combo slate call......works the birds in close.....if i did not have this call.....i would not bring out a bird....this call is death for gobblers.....;)

POwer crystal w/ a plastic striker, QUaker boy ten sider and this year the one they've been liking is an Eddie Salter's split double mouth call.

For me Knight & Hale's Ol' Yeller has been working great. Got to love that Sla-Tek!

i don't think rod has a web site......rod is out of mich......i have hunted with him before.......we have all his box calls,slates,crow calls ,deer calls...rod is a great guy........he filmed me two years ago taking a long beard......i got proof.....

The one that works the best, on the bird I'm hunting, on that particular day...

A vest full of calls, with quite a few more stashed at home, I haven't found a single true go-to call...

Maybe that's why the call-manufacturers stay in business...;)

I have 2. The Black Magic and the Black widow. Both are awesome calls that get a really good response. I like a few different diaphragms though. Cuttin hen by primos, hecklin hen by QB, And the cuttin lite by H.S. Strut. BB

Probably a M.A.D. Super Aluminator.....great call.

Sure is. I have seen the Aluminator work sevral times on turkeys that just would not answer anything else. BB

H.S. Strut Black Magic with Rose wood striker, or acrylic striker
H.S. Strut Field Champion Silencer Plus Box Call. :D

I use a combination of the HS strut cuttin 2.5 diaphragm and a MAD #314 super crystal slate, with an HS strut rosewood striker. The mouth call's for finding them and getting them interested, the slate closes the deal.
