HELP THEY WONT ANSWER What calls do i use!!
 

What do i do when the goblers dont gobble to my calls. i was out in the woods and it was real stormy and rainy and then they wouldnt anwser and the next day it was sunny and nice and they still didnt awnser my call but one did come in but none would answer why please help.

Henned up most likely. Where are yousetting up? What type of area? How is the Hen to Tom ratio?

I agree with Wa Hunter, probably henned up, or just not in the mood. The next day they might tear your head off. SOmetimes too you have to buck the system and try something creative. Lat year they went silent for three day or more. So after that I chose to grind my strikers down to nubs by calling so aggressively and hard that I finally woke them up enough to start back up. I had the entire hillside gobbling. Tagged a bird by 10:30 doing that. So just don't be afraid to try something new every now and then.

yes probably hened up, maybe they have been bumped, maybe some one else is educating them for ya. that is usually a couple of reasons for it to happen.

We tried a screaming hawk the other day as a shock call and it worked up to 2:45 or so

If you scouted the birds set up in a strutting area or a good travel route and be patient.
