RE: Looking for a new gun Win or Rem 3 or 3 1/2 ?
 

I have a Mossberb 835 and shoot 3 1/2" Federal #5's. I patterned this with a friend who was shooting a Win. 1300 with 3" shells. We both thought his 3" kicked harder than my 3 1/2". Like mentioned in other posts, you only notice the kick when patterning and you shoot multiple times.
