RE: Tools for turkey
Hawgnman,
I sent you an email about where I place the thermacell, but just in case you didn't get it. I put a nylon string thru the grill so that I can hang it around my neck, and I let it hang down on my side. It doesn't get hot enough to burn you, leaves, dashboard of your vehicle (I lay mine there alot waiting til it gets close to daylight) with windows down. I also use it in my boat when river fishing, and I use it during archery (deer) season. It doesn't seem to bother the deer. I sometimes carry it in my pants side pockets and light it when I get where I'm going. Just remember, place it on your upwind side if there wind. If you was to have a real strong wind it won't do any good, of course you usually don't need it then anyway. Hope this helps. dog1 |
